Through the growing season we're on your yard every week. That's what it takes to keep the cut height right and stay ahead of it — go to every other week in June and you're scalping it back down each visit, which stresses the lawn instead of maintaining it.
Once growth slows for the winter, we drop to once a month. Enough to keep the lines clean and the yard looking kept, without charging you to mow grass that isn't growing.

Austin yards aren't all running the same grass, and the right cut height for one is the wrong one for another. St. Augustine holds up best when it stays tall — 3 to 4 inches — because that length shades the soil and keeps moisture in through the worst of the summer. Bermuda is the reverse: it's happiest cut short and gets thin and stemmy if you let it run. Zoysia sits in between and doesn't forgive a scalping. Buffalograss barely wants to be touched.
We figure out what you've got, set the deck for it, and adjust as the season moves. And we keep blades sharp — a dull blade tears the grass instead of cutting it, which is what turns the tips brown a few days after service.

MOWING
This is the part people notice without knowing they're noticing it. A yard can be mowed perfectly and still look unkept if the grass is creeping over the driveway and the fence line is shaggy.
We cut a clean vertical edge along the drive, the walks, and the curb — a real line, not a trimmer waved sideways at it. Kept up every visit, that line stays where it belongs. Let it go a few months and the turf grows over the concrete, which takes a lot more work to bring back than it does to maintain.
Then we string-trim everything the mower can't get to: bed edges, fence lines, posts, the base of the mailbox, around the AC unit. Last thing we do is blow the walks, the drive, and the street in front of your house.
